Big Bend National Park.  We went there for my birthday in March of 2010.  Big Bend borders the Rio Grande, which divides Mexico and the United States.  This is a photo from the path to the summit of Emory Peak.  We ran into a mountain lion on the way down.  That lion was not scared of us at all.  I had to throw a few rocks his way to get him to move off the path.

Terlingua is the thriving metropolis near Big Bend.  Love it.

Located at kilometer 9 on the Cozumel Highway, this is a great spot to spend the day.  We did just that with friends in August 2008.

Sunflower Garden at Changi Airport (Singapore).  Long flight home from Asia.  Had a stopover here and wanted to step outside for a while.  Found this little garden in the middle of the airport.  It turns out there are more gardens there too.
